CHANTAL' ASHANTÈ HILL
Spiritual Ballerina
Chantal’ Ashantè Hill began as a gymnast at 6 years old but began her formal ballet training at the “late” age of 18. A path that God purposefully called her to hone. With the grit & grace of God, she persevered towards her purpose which she now calls “Spiritual Ballerina.” Chantal’ was called by God to study ballet, with an assignment to spread the gospel through the gift of dance in & outside the church. She has trained on full scholarship with Dance Theatre of Harlem, Joel Hall Dancers & Center, and Danspiration Center Inc. She has performed with Joel Hall Dancers, Judah International Dance Theatre, Dance Ministry Institute, Elements Contemporary Ballet, Hiplet Ballerinas, Centre du Danse Marais of Paris, France, Dance Theatre of Harlem- Nutcracker, Columbia College Chicago, and Dance Ministries Instruments of Praise, God’s Anointed In Motion, Dance Ministry Institute, and Yielded Vessels Dance Ministry. In 2017, she was awarded Trailblazer of the Year by Dance Ministry Magazine. Among many applicants, Chantal’ was selected by the prestigious Alvin Ailey American Dance Theatre to teach ballet for its Chicagoland area extension program “Ailey Camp Chicago.” Chantal’ invites the world into her life as a Spiritual Ballerina; a ballerina of faith on her award-winning reality show “The Spiritual Ballerina “ on Ultimate Faith Television Network (Roku) as she travels the world balancing the disciplines of ballet & spiritual discipline through life & dance ministry. She has been featured on TV shows, “Praise The Lord'' (Trinity Broadcasting Network), "Bobby Jones Presents" (Impact Network), “Empire" (Ballerina- Ballet scenes)(FOX) & lead ballerina feature in “Fuse” music video of Violinist Damien Escobar & ballerina in “I'm Not Lucky, I'm Loved” video by Gospel Artist Jonathan McReynolds. The Worldwide BrownGirlsdoBallet organization featured her in their 2019 calendar. Dance Mogul Magazine spotlighted the Spiritual Ballerina in their February Issue bringing light to her faith and consecrated lifestyle as a ballerina. Chantal’ passionately mentors young brown ballerinas and ladies in New York City, Chicago & Los Angeles. Her heart of worship and spirit of excellence has led her to many avenues but she knows that this wouldn't be possible without God.
